I have a small deck on the side of my house these are the 3 footings to the deck. Starting with the lowest 4X4 - I can see the concrete. Here’s a closeup Moving up to the middle post - no exposed concrete and finally this is the highest 4X4 - no exposed concrete I dug around the top post and found some buried in the dirt. Water in the yard after rain, just lays there. In the winter, water freezes and pushes up on back porch, causing cracks to the cement, and pushing one of 3 bricked porch columns out of alignment. My best guess, is that we need French drains installed in the yard to pull water away from the house, the back porch floor will need re-cemented, and one of the Porch columns holding the porch up will need re-bricked. I want to remove a bathroom from the previous owner in the basement. The frames are already put in for the basement so there just needs to be drywall put in and looks finished. I just want a separate room for the boiler and water heater and a space for the washer and dryer which is already there in the basement.
