I have a dry-off oven that is used to dry off parts for the purpose of powder coat painting them. We are having a problem with fumes backfilling the oven and burning the workers eyes. I'm looking to change out the exhaust ductwork from the oven to the roof and install a more powerful exhaust fan on the roof. We currently have 8" ductwork but have been told we need to upgrade to 12" and remove the bends in the ductwork and go straight up with it. Currently, this project is a priority. My 12" duct broke in the attic. It was put together with duct tape 40 years ago. I would like to get new R6 flex duct installed. It is a 23 ' run in the attic.
