ESS Earthquake Retrofit
We are looking to get the garage area soft story reinforced per the FEMA P 1100 2b planset. There are some minor complications with our house that have already been addressed by an engineer. It does include a change to the front wall that will require a new garage door.
We have been accepted into the FEMA ESS grant program already. We are also in the FEMA EBB program and will be addressed as part of a separate project.
