Subfloor Preparation for Home Depot Pergo Flooring Installation
This morning, during a Home Depot PergoFloor installation, we discovered that the plywood covered with particleboard is warped and rotten adjacent to the glass sliding doors.
This is the main bedroom, which is currently unusable until the construction is corrected.
Home Depot is requiring that the particleboard be removed, the subfloor be inspected, and any necessary remedies be made before they can continue with the installation.
There is a significant sense of urgency for these repairs.
