Hardwood Flooring Installatioj
I plan on having new engineered hardwood flooring installed throughout my townhouse. The existing subfloor is OLD (1940) original hardwood floors. They are in terrible shape, so I plan to have 3/8" thick plywood sheets installed first, then the new prefinished eng hdwd to install a top the new plywood. I need labor only, I will supply all materials. The bare subfloor will already have the old tackless strips, pad staples, etc, removed and swept clean prior. However, I don't know the extent of repair needed, if any, to install the new plywood subfloor over this old existing floor, uneven and bad shape! If you're interested, please reach out. ...
