We would like to remodel the deck on our back porch. There is currently a 11.5' x 6.5' landing, with 7 stairs up to it. The staircase consumes part of the square surface area of the landing. We would like to replace and relocate the staircase to create more area to enjoy. We would also like to update the rest of the structure with new banisters and railings and either replace or refurbish the deck surface. A lot of the structural wood seems pretty solid. There is an odd closet-like structure we would also like to eliminate. The entire structure is covered by a roof, so it could be a good project during the rainy season.
