Retaining Wall Rebuild
The basement in the house we just had inspected for purchase is partially finished and partially filled with sand that is held back by a retaining wall. Column footings rest on the sand. The retaining wall (about 25 feet long x 4 feet high) is leaning at one end, and a 5-foot section is missing on the left side, where the sand that supports column footings is no longer held back. We will need early this week an estimate that includes obtaining a permit for the. work. See photos attached with phrases from the inspection report. If you're interested, please reach out.
