Big "tyvek" house, built out of pocket over several years. Husband passed, and I'm unable to keep up repairs or go on ladders. I also don't want my brothers (in their 70s) overdoing. A windstorm has blown tarpaper off the eaves of the roof. Won't it last too long before needing wood replaced? Also, Tyvek is peeling and unraveling off sides. The roof never got a ridgevent or ice protection. I could go on for miles. :} Many smaller projects for future plans. Inside is totally unfinished, 'except for sheetrock in my living quarters that my brother did for us. I don't know how to do photos, but I do have lots in different places of our progress. We have Smith and Sons Painting pressure washing the house before painting and pointed out that the roofline wood was spongy from too much concentrated rain or ice buildup, causing the wood to deteriorate. Replacement of the damaged areas is needed. Please contact me if you're interested. Thanks!
