We’re trying to make space for aging parents and growing boys. Either off the back of our 1970s garage or added onto our 1920s house. The space is unique but available land-wise we’re just waiting for the right opportunity to finally do it. Project really needs an additional kitchen and two bathrooms ideally. It is a double lot and the water is already wicked weak so it probably makes the most sense to add onto the garage and open a new sewer line. The dream would be to make it big enough to connect the two buildings and keep the old folks out of the snow altogether but you’d have to be a pretty creative architect to make that happen, I think.
