10 months and no fence! My husband and I bought materials for the fence thinking he could install it with help from friends; however, with a 1 and 2 year old, he couldn't find the time so I decided to hire someone. This company said they could install it using materials I had purchased and only charged for labor. They responded quickly to price quote so I liked that. The project manager came and gave me a price that’s over $400 more but for less linear footage than the original quote. Ok, I let that one go figuring all companies do that and signed the contract and gave my full deposit. The project manager is a smooth talker. I trusted him but I don’t think he’s very honest. Five months after the deposit was taken, he almost convinced me that the type of fence I have could not be installed on my land because of a small slope due to the walk-out basement. I called the manufacturer and they said it could be done on slopes and gave me instruction videos. I sent it to him. Then he had all kinds of excuses to not install the fence and kept postponing it. I thought I finally will get it installed when they came to do a walk through to mark everything including utilities lines. However, nothing was done after that except my yard is now full of flags from utilities marker for almost 2 months. When I text him I need it done or give me my money back so I could remove the utility flags, he just ignored me. I called their office and couldn't get a real person so left a message to call me back regarding a customer complaint and it’s been a week with no call back. I feel like I’m being scammed. Money gone with no fence for almost 10 months and counting…my kids are now 2 and 3 and they might not have a fence for spring to keep them safe from traffic, so less freedom to run around the backyard.
