  Masonry work outside of house, started and never completed. Paid a large deposit to order windows. N

  Do Not Use this company. Alex Vieira stole thousands of dollars from us! He is a cheat and a thief. Gave him a large deposit to order nine windows. He said he ordered the windows. Told him to deliver the windows as he said they were at the warehouse. He never delivered the windows & never we never got our money back. This is just one of the things he didn't complete for us after taking our money. He has 4 bad reviews from last year and at least 3 from this year.

  I had an extension done back in 2005 by A.M.F. and everything was great and the owner was a very nice man. Everything went well with the job and looked great. But within 1-1/2 years all the window seals failed. After 2-1/2 years the roof started to leak in the new addition. I called them and they said it was nothing they did wrong and would not come to look at it. Since then I had to get roofing company to come in to fix the bad areas and the flashing. Everyone I took up to look at the roof said it was a very bad roofing job. I also recently found out that the roof is less then a 2" pitched roof and it should have not been a shingle roof, it is considered a flat roof and should have been finished for low sloping roofs. Be careful out there. He was still a nice guy.

  We had them re-do our bathroom two years ago, and we couldn't have been happier with the results. The crew were clean, quiet and respectful, working non-stop from the time they came in the morning till they left (always cleaning up the work site first). Great company, going to call them to do the downstairs bath now, too.

  In making the decision of whether to recommend a company you’ve done business with, there are several factors involved: the quality of the work, the cost, punctuality, and the overall attitude and cooperation of those doing the work are some of these factors.
  In every category I’ve just listed, AMF Remodeling was superb. We have used AMF for two major projects in our home, as they did a wonderful job a few years ago in finishing our basement. That project including the construction of closets, a full bathroom, lighting, etc. The ‘finished’ product doubled the size of our house.
  More recently, AMF Remodeling just completed a large backyard deck off the back of our home. As with the first project, the crews were cooperative and on time each day, extremely diligent with their work, and did a wonderful job with attention to every detail. In both cases, the costs were more than competitive and worth every penny.
  My wife and I recommend AMF Remodeling to anyone who has any home improvement project in mind, and we do plan to use them again in the near future.
