    Our building had to hire an architect to design a second entrance into the building- and my direct experience with this other firm, Anzalone Archtecture, was very positive. They were very responsive, creative, knowledgeable about code requirements, detail oriented, and communicated issues very thoroughly to facilitate our decision making process as a condominium entity.

    James Anzalone Architect if you need a very sharp one. Then in construction, you must go with your gut feeling. We did most the supervision and that is where you save time and $ and it worked out fine, but we had a very predetermined project so it was easier to outsource every detail.

    James did a small job for us this summer. We learned we needed a building permit for interior work in our apartment. We thought we could just do the work without city/state permits but found we needed to get the official ok. Time was of the essence.

    James did thorough work, moved very quickly for us, charged a reasonable fee, communicated well with us, and got the job done. Since the work involved removing an interior wall, the drawings were simple and pretty basic. He dealt with the appropriate officials successfully and in record time!

    I would enthusiastically recommend him. I have nothing but good things to say about his performance.
