Buffalo's Best Flooring

As of July 10th, 2023, over a month since they destroyed my home, I have yet to receive any payment from this flooring company. They not only removed my floor but also refuse to refund me, despite acknowledging their wrongdoing.

I am utterly disgusted by the behavior of these individuals. They have not only caused extensive damage to my home but have also stolen nearly $20,000 from me.

After they installed the flooring for me in late 2021, problems immediately surfaced. They visited my property, acknowledged the issues, and assured me that everything was covered by warranty. They promised to replace the floor at no additional cost to me. Although I had to pay for the subfloor upfront, they guaranteed that the flooring replacement and installation would be fully covered. However, after numerous delays spanning seven months, they finally arrived to remove the old flooring, claiming that they would complete the job over a period of ten consecutive days. Unfortunately, once they removed my flooring, they never returned. Now, my house has been reduced to subflooring, and I have an entire garage filled with the old flooring.

After weeks of their no-shows and my home being in ruins, I reached a point where I no longer wanted them to step foot in my property. I demanded a refund for the money I paid them. It was only after making threats that they started responding, but the cycle of excuses began anew. They initially agreed to refund me, but since then, it has been a constant stream of lies and deceptive tactics. They even went so far as to "fake" a wire transfer and fabricate stories about obtaining a certified check. It has been over three weeks without any flooring in my home, and these unscrupulous individuals refuse to return my money. They seem to believe that it is acceptable to destroy people's homes and deceive them.

To recover my funds, I have been forced to file a lawsuit and explore alternative avenues. However, I am not alone in this ordeal. I urge anyone who has faced similar issues with this company to reach out to other ongoing lawsuits or contact me directly. I am more than willing to assist and provide a wealth of evidence. It is not just me who has suffered; multiple customers have been cheated by these fraudsters. A quick search online for "Buffalo's Best Flooring Lawsuit" will reveal the extent of their misconduct. They owe over $100,000 to banks and creditors, and their business is plagued with numerous ongoing legal actions.

I do not recommend this company- when reading reviews- sort them by “newest”.
We met them at the Buffalo Home Show. Prior to hiring them, we did our research and they had great reviews, it seems that over the past few months the reviews have gone downhill. They started out so professional and incredibly responsive.
The craziness began when the job was supposed be starting. They spent more time making excuses for why no one could come to do work than anyone could imagine, from going to the wrong address, claims that workers were calling in, other job unexpected delays. Sean and Alexis seem to play off each other, pretending one does not know what the other is doing/saying.
Work was supposed to begin 5/22 and on 5/21 (Sunday) at 5:46pm we were informed that they ran behind Friday and would not be able to start. From that point on, we were told every day that they would be coming to start for 13 days. The only time we saw Sean was on 6/3. He showed up around 11:30am without tools, left to get his tools and flooring and said he would return in 40 minutes, but never returned. We rearranged our work schedules way too many times, only for no one to show up. Many excuses- many false promises.
We have rearranged our schedules MORE than 13 times after being told they are coming only to have them no show. The stories and excuses were constant and ridiculous.
They DO NOT HAVE ANY REGARD for anyone else's time or needs. I would never recommend this company. They are not what they present as.
We were lucky enough to have used our American Express and received a refund as the goods were never received.
