My license has never had any citations from the day I was awarded my license back in January of 1985. The statements in this review are all false. After 30 years of service, why would I want to jeopardize my license or my reputation of 30 years.

Our project was 1400 sqft room addition. Frank did all the base boards, crown molding, hung interior doors, installed kitchen cabinets, kitchen tile,bathroom trims and even some plumbing. He has a very high degree of integrity and cares about his work. My wife and kids actually miss having him around. You can hire Caklovic Construction without any reservations.

My remodel experience with Caklovic Construction has been very positive. I have an Interior Design practice emphasizing high-end and fine design; Frank has been a great tool for the successful completions of many of my projects.
Frank Caklovic's timeliness, solid communication, cleanliness, respect for the homeowner, organization with paperwork and documentation are some of his greatest attributes as a General Contractor. Frank Caklovic is very hands on with his projects and ensures their safety, security and adherence to design. To a designer, he is a true asset.

We've hired Frank on projects both large and small at our older house in L.A., and he's done great work for us. He's done everything from construction work (building a new outdoor patio 'room') to finishing cabinets, drawers, and other interior work that requires a careful touch. He's been reliable, competitively priced, and honest. We definitely recommend him, which I can't say for some of the other contractors we've encountered.
Caklovic construction. Yes... And they managed to take over $6000 from me without completing any of the work they started.
They removed an 8' section of wall. The section remaining is not straight. It's a full 1/4 inch out of plumb no thanks to their drywall finishing.
They used unlicensed labor without notifying me beforehand. I had 3 unlicensed workers doing electrical in my home. Their electrical was botched in so many ways I wouldn't know where to begin. Once more, started but not completed. Caklovic demanded to be paid in full, and he was. However, my electrical is not complete.
Caklovic was paid to do my fireplace for stacked stone. His framing is not at all square. He yelled cursing directly in my face, while in my kitchen after I told him it was unacceptable for him to glue stacked stone directly on to the metal fascia around my fireplace. It has to be done right.
He tried numerous times to demand thousands more from me to begin, or continue or complete any work. By the 5th day Caklovic demanded I pay him 80% of the job agreed price when he had completed just 25%.
To me, I believe Caklovic stole half my project budget and left our home and our lives in complete disarray. He's no doubt laughing as he found himself another XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXer to swindle.
This has been just a small sample of what Caklovic has caused us to endure in less than 1 week. I would never recommend build zoom or any of these referral sites. Caklovic comes off like a likable guy as long as you keep paying and don't have an opinion. Caklovic and his partner actually wanted to install my toilet then tile around it.
Never use these guys!
