BAD BUSINESS! Tells you he needs your money up front so he can pay for the last guys flooring. Then he takes a large deposit from the next guy to buy your flooring. He tells you your flooring is leftover from another job and he can give you a good price. Lies! He buys all of the flooring at the last minute from Home Depo. His installers are BUTCHERS. If they aren't BUTCHERS then they are trying to make him look bad because they do a horrible job. You would be better off doing the job yourself even if you have no idea what your doing. They put dents in my walls and dishwasher. Spaces in between the wood, scratches on all surfaces of the newly laid floor and the workers have to plead with him to get enough material to finish the job and still leave without the job being finished. They don't even prepare your floor properly before they start laying the wood. We have wood popping up all over the place. If you dont want to end up in a court room suing him for a horrible job look elsewhere. This company doesn't deserve even one star!! This guy takes your money and leaves you with a crap job. If you value your home look somewhere else for a good job. He takes what should be a happy time i your life and destroys your dreams. Dont let him destroy yours!

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY. THEY OWE ME A 3k JUDGEMENT FOR FLOORING THAT WAS NEVER FINISHED. HE WILL NOT PAY ME, HE TOOK MY MONEY AND STALLED INSTALLATION UNTIL I THREATENED WITH POLICE. HE FINALLY CAME AND DID NOT HAVE ENOUGH MATERIAL...WAS FORCED TO GIVE HIM BALANCE AND STILL NOT ENOUGH MATERIAL. NEVER FINISHED MY JOB. SUED HIM IN ATLANTIC COUNTY AND WON. HE STILL WILL NOT PAY ME. I REPEAT DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY MANY OF THE SAME COMPLAINTS. I FILED COMPLAINTS WITH THE PA AND NJ ATTORNEY GENERALS OFFICES AND THEY WILL REVOKE HIS LICENSE IF HE HAS ANY. DO NOT TRUST MIKE CORSO OR HIS COMPANY

Is it possible to rate him as "BAD"? He was a fast talker and even faster worker. He arrived at my house with his crew and he installed my wood flooring. He approached me at the end of the day requesting payment and as soon as I paid him he and his crew were out of my home in less than 15 minutes. He didn't complete the job, all of my doors were left off the hinges, transitions were not installed, there were a few hidden charges on my invoice, there are gaps wider than the 1/4 round throughout the house, he didn't clean up the tremendous amount of saw dust that was left behind from all of the cuts, and all of my smoke detectors were disconnected and left outside. I sent him several pictures and called him several times to rectify the situation. He agreed that there was a problem and he would be back to complete the job. Almost 2 weeks later he's a no show - no call and is not answering any of my calls. SHADY!

He will rip you off!! We paid him on September of 2011 for flooring that he didn't fully deliver. We only got 1/3 of it. He still owes us over $2300. We have filed a complaint with the state of New Jersey. Never give him your money up front!!

Initially Mike was very responsive to phone calls and came as promised to estimate ( 4/26/11) and install a few weeks later. Upon final inspection of job ( 2 others did carpeting, he did entree way door sweep in hardwood laminate), he saw that his carpet guys forgot to do a small area that was separate, in the laundry room. There was not enough of a full piece of carpet left to do it, but there were a couple of leftovers that he said he could have bound together and could make it work. Since it was only the laundry room, we agreed, and foolishly we paid the last $935 we owed. From there it went downhill. Several weeks later, multiple phone call reminders, he finally showed up to do this small area; he unrolled the supposedly bound piece, and it turned out to be the same two pieces we gave him weeks before, still not bound together correctly. He blamed the place where he got carpet, and said he would send it back to redo....then he offered to get an entirely new piece for the laundry room. We asked if he could perhaps bind one of these smaller pieces, cutting it down a bit, to put over a highly trafficked area to cut down some of the wear and tear where a seam was. Of course we said we would pay for the additional binding. He said he could do that, and asked us to call him to remind him. Mike said he could drop it off one night because our house is in the same town he lives in. Several weeks later, again after multiple calls, he came to drop off the bound piece, it was bound in black. (all other pieces in our order were bound, as ordered, in "grey exp") Of course it did not look right. Again, he said he would redo it. While he was there, he said the piece for the laundry room was not in yet and he told us that it might not be the exact same shade of gray, since it had been several months now from the original order. We said that would be OK. It was now August. We have not seen him since, though we have tied to contact him several times a month. Two weeks ago he finally returned a call, promising to get in touch with us by the weekend, and you guessed it....which is why I am filing this. It is not a big loss, just a few hundred dollars, but it will make ME think twice about dealing with local independents.... Mike is a personable guy, rather disorganized professionally, and ultimately unreliable, I am afraid.

Gave one star because there is nothing lower. NEVER pay any money up front to this company. There is no way to know if you will get what you paid for or get your money back. If someone takes your money and doesn't deliver the product you paid for and does not refund your money it is consummer fraud. Mike Corso took our money did not deliver what we paid for and isn't giving us our money back. You draw your own conclusions. Buyer beware!!!

Today I contacted the Attorney General's Office of the State of New Jersey to see if I can file consumer fraud charges. My attorney has started legal actions to recover my $2339 refund.

Not punctual. Job site clean up is poor. Very poor project management. Shortage of material. Cut corners. Not recommended at all.

Justin made it extremely easy to get our job complete, albeit we lived 225 miles away. He provided in depth information regarding flooring options and assisted with our decision by making recommendations supported by his many years of experience in the industry combined with an extensive knowledge of the Lewes/Rehoboth area. As a lifelong resident, he knew exactly how our condo was constructed which allowed him to precisely estimate effort and time to complete project.
Justin is extremely responsive, most times responding to my (many) text messages and questions within minutes. Knowing we were up against a pretty tight deadline, he took time during his family vacation to support us, and even asked his team to help us out by working throughout Labor Day weekend, to which they kindly agreed.
As if all that wasn’t enough, Justin also happily reached out on our behalf to other local service providers to make connections. This allowed us to check off a few more boxes from our to-do list.
And most importantly, our floors are absolutely gorgeous. I am an extremely detail oriented, somewhat “particular” person with a very high bar for quality and I couldn’t be happier with the outcome. I would STRONGLY recommend Cape Flooring and would be happy to provide additional feedback if anyone has specific questions regarding our experience.
Thank you Justin and team!!
