Taylor plumbing came to our home November 2022 to replace our garbage disposal. On July 24, 2023 we noticed our new floor job we had done a year prior was buckling in parts of our kitchen. It appeared to be water damage that was not there before. We looked through parts of our kitchen water could come from and located a small leak from our garbage disposal that Taylor plumbing had replaced and "repaired". We called them July 24th and advised them we had a leak in the garbage disposal they replaced and they came out August 1st to check it out. He tightened our garbage disposal and said that it just was not screwed on tight enough when they did the initial job. We asked him about the water damage to our floors and he stated the floors did not have water damage, the buckling was due to a bad floor job when we got them done. We told him it seemed like water damage and he advised us to get a licensed flooring contractor out to assess the damage and prove there is water beneath the floors because he doesn't see any water on top of our floors and does not believe that is the case. We got a contractor out today November 28th and the contractor confirmed we have water damage under our floors and it was coming from the kitchen. He lifted our vinyl flooring and confirmed water on the padding as well as tested our concrete that is now moist as well. Concrete showed water damage and moisture throughout kitchen. He also tested the rest of the home such as bedrooms and the concrete was dry with no water damage. I called Conrad with Taylor plumbing back with the contractor still in my home and allowed him to speak with him and Conrad is still denying any wrongdoing after the flooring contractor confirmed it is water underneath our floors. He refused to give me any further information regarding his business and told me to get a lawyer if I want to get reimbursed for any damages he caused. I will NEVER do business with a company like this and based off some of the reviews on yelp this is a common error Conrad and Taylor plumbing make with no tightening things connected to plumbing in homes and causing secondary damage.
