By Deani F.October 6, 2021Multi rooms in Main house, carriage house and boat house
Junie has had a long-standing business in Chicago-land. She is polished and professional. We spoke to her references prior to selecting her for our major North Shore project. Our project included our main house, carriage house and boat house. Things started so well but, in time, my husband and I started to blush at the “transformation “ occurring. We worked with June to shift course but in the end we stopped the project as her eye and taste we not the standard we sought. A very sad disappointment for us. This on top of one of her workers running over our poor poodle Bouvier

June does amazing work! I have used her multiple times for both my home and summer home. She got to know my needs and delivered a spectacular end result. No one I know can accomplish what she does: starting with an empty slate and transforming the room(s) all at once. She worked with my building contractor and oversaw selection of everything from lighting, to flooring, as well as paint, furniture and accessories. We loved that she stands behind all her sub contractors through the process. Wouldn’t hesitate to use her again!

June came highly recommended from a friend. She was very pleasant but my partner and I were sheepishly embarrassed for her as the end result of our home was as if she had no experience in decorating. Completely missed the mark and we paid a premium for work that we did not favor. Best to continue looking for someone with a better portfolio.

Without any real, actual design credentials, she used a lot of cheap stuff from TJ Maxx to decorate my house and charges a "restocking" fee when you don't like the tacky "accessories" she selects. When completed, my house looked like the lobby of a cheap motel 6.

With a compound in Sugar Grove with multiple residence on our property, June has done a great deal of work for us over time. Our relationship was strong and we sought her out for multiple project iterations. Unfortunately her work has not stood the test of time and many facets of our resident interior designs and decorating touches have proved to be of poor quality, craftmanship, and cheap accessories that do not meet our standards. What we thought of at first to be a fine work product turned out to be, unfortunately for us, smoke blown over a mirror. We are very disappointed in what we thought was a strong relationship and bond as well as care for our homes.
