Don’t waste your time or money on this company. They were able to complete simple tasks like blowout and backflow but when asked to diagnose and repair my existing system they failed miserably.
I was getting a bunch of brown spots in my backyard and realized it was time for a tune up. I created a detailed list of my concerns and North Idaho Sprinklers said they would get it fixed. They came out, charged me and completed nothing. Coming back with the notes of “His opinion is that the backyard sprinkler system needs to be redone entirely”. This is a system that has worked great for 10 years, I asked questions on how this could be. The owner later stepped in saying “He wasn’t saying the whole system needs revamped, he was just saying the design isn’t ideal” when I have proof otherwise in the emails.
After they told me to pay to replace the entire system I went out and did some diagnosing (which they clearly did not do). I found 4 sprinkler heads that were old and not turning. You could clearly tell that was the reason for the brow spots nearby because of the one green strip and brown everywhere else the sprinkler was supposed to hit. The only possible way a trained sprinkler tech would have missed this is if they didn’t even look. Another problem with the system that I asked them to address was a permanent puddle. They told me it is not a leak and result of bad design. I dug it up and it was in fact a cracked pipe.
I tired really hard to work with the company but was met with hostility and bonus, even a life lecture.
I would be happy to share pictures of the yard and the rude emails, just please don’t use this company.
