John presented himself as a professional and knowledgeable man. Even though it was one of the hottest days, and I am sure a busy day for him, he did not rush and make hasty decision or recommendations. I felt as I was the most important customer during his visit. John is very honest and I knew he was recommending only the services needed and wasn't pushing other services, he's straightforward in his recommendation with the best prices. It's hard to find someone trustworthy or honest, and you will find that with John. We found a company for life!

John Picco came to our home in the summer to fix our air conditioner - and did a great job. It was really hot, and he arrived the same day I called for help.
He just returned to check out the heating system to insure it works properly this winter, and took the time to set up and show me how to work our programmable thermostat for maximum efficiency.
On both visits he was right on time - courteous, efficient, and a pleasure to work with. He brings drop cloths and is conscientious to leave everything neat and in order.
I absolutely recommend him and his company! It's refreshing to work with someone who really cares about the quality of work they do!

I am happy to say that it will be a warm winter thanks to John Picco from Picco Air Control. A friend recommended him to me when I told her I was unable to get my heater going. I contacted him right then and there and within minutes I was making an appointment with him. John not only arrived on schedule, but was thorough, informative and professional. Most importantly, he got my heater up and running! I wouldn't recommend anyone else.

Extremely reliable and efficient service. Prices are very reasonable as well. John did a very thorough inspection on both my unit on the outside of my house as well as to the ducts in the attic. Extremely happy with his service!

Picco Air Control is the best heating and air conditioning company I have ever dealt with. John Picco is knowledgeable and very professional. Another company told me I had to replace my unit but John was able to fix it without me having to replace it. John was honest and told me I will probably need to replace it sometime in the near future but for now it is working. I will definitely call John when it really needs replacing. John's pricing is reasonable and he showed up to do the job when he said he would. I am recommending him to all my friends and family.

While visiting my elderly Aunt we discovered that the company she used to service her air conditioner had charged her a lot of money and did not do the job right! We were so upset that someone would take advantage of her, and so I called John, I knew that he was very honest and we could TRUST in his work. My Aunt was very impressed with John and it was good to know our family was in good hands.. We have shared this story with the rest of the Family and all of our friends.. We will only use Picco Air Control from now on.. Thank you John!

My air went out on me right before a heat wave came and I had 2 week old baby. Picco Air Control showed up to my home only a couple hours after my initial call and had a new exterior unit installed the next morning. Good prices and extremely clean. I'd definitely recommend Picco Air Control. Great Service!

I recommend this company to anyone and everyone who is in need of heating or A/C work. John is very knowledgable and honest. He has taken care of all my needs in the past and never tries to sell something you don't need, and that is a big plus considering the number of other companies out there that over charge for services you probably didn't need in the first place. He will always be straight forward with you and give you the best customer service I have seen in quite some time!! Honesty, integrity, and prompt service is what Picco Air stands for.

I'll start with the punch line: Picco Air Control should be your designated AC service provider, period.
I first got in touch with John (owner) about 9 years ago on a hot summer day. I switched the thermostat and AC wouldn't start afterwards. Went on Yelp and scrolled through the service provider pages like most of you do, and I stumbled across Picco. Called John but he was busy at a job site, but he asked me to text him the issue and he quickly replied with his thoughts and the possible root cause. It boiled down to a shorter fuse in the furnace. Instead of coming over and charging me a heavy service charge to simply replace the fuse, he directed me to buy a replacement for just a few bucks and gave me detailed instructions on how to replace it myself, which worked out perfectly. That's when u realized I found a trustworthy and honest provider, which is nothing short of finding a needle in a haystack these days.
Fast forward to this summer, I started having cooling issue with my unit. Another trusty AC tech friend had helped me with refilling the refrigerant, but the unit was just too old at this point and kept leaking it out to the point I had to refill the freon 3 times in a span of just 4 months. That's when I remembered John and reached out to him for help.
Expertise and Knowledge: John is incredibly knowledgeable, thorough, and able to quickly diagnose the issue and offer up solutions.
Responsiveness: Super prompt response times, and John was very punctual for all our appointments as well as all the calls/text communication.
Professionalism and Cleanliness: John, Alex and their team were super friendly, polite, respectful, considerate,and left everything clean and the way it was after service.
Honesty and Reliability: The single most important factor in my opinion. The cost to replace the unit isn't cheap, but I genuinely felt I was treated with honesty and transparency. I know exactly how much I was paying and the pricing breakdown. John wasn't trying to upsell me anything. In fact, he was very cognizant of the cost and even gave me pointers to compare other services providers and what to look for in pricing. I sensed John's honesty and integrity, and that's what ultimately led me to give him the job.
Customer Service: Going above and beyond is the best way to sum things up. The entire experience, from the very first text message to helping me set up financing and with great details and handholding, John was there for me, day and night. Alex was so nice and kind he went out of his way to tape up the pipe for my other unit after years of UV and dog abuse.
The 5 stars I gave really don't do justice to the ultimate experience I have consistently had with John and Picco Air Control. Again, trust is the ultimate factor. I trust John, and I already told him the next replacement job is his when the time comes.
