I paid this company to grade my yard and place pipes underground to divert rain water away from the foundation of my home. I was told high quality soil and seed would be brought in and grading would be sufficient to divert water in to a storm drain.
I have been attempting to grow grass now for a year and have been told by the owner to continue to put down lime to attempt to correct the poor soil. I have invested over $500 in an attempt to grow grass thus far. The back portion of the yard 70ft x 4ft holds about 2 inches of water for a week after every rain. A poor attempt to rectify this was made with a hand shovel ravine.
The work underground to this point is working but the grading and soil is very poor and unsatisfactory.
I feel that after my payment of $6200 my project became an after thought and rectifying any issue was being met with weather related excuses and quick non effective action.
After threatening legal action, I was told his work was done on my property and his insurance would pay out any claims against him.
