Salty's Roofing Service

On Friday 6/15/18 Contracted Danny Saul of Salty Roofing for $500.00 to clean and tighten all gutter and leaders and to reinstall gutter guards. Gave Mr. Saul a $250.00 check on 6/15/18 in which he cashed the check on Monday, 6/18/18 as a deposit. He stated when he knew his schedule he contact me. 7 days passed and I had not heard from him. I called him twice on his cell (718) 666-6458 and once at (718) 849-2206 stating I had not heard from him and if he could not do the job to refund me deposit on 6/23/18. At 11:20 pm on 6/23/18 I received a text message from Mr. Saul stating he could do the job anytime during the week. I responded Tuesday 6/26/18 afternoon, Wednesday 6/27/18 morning or Friday 6/29/18 morning and asking him which day would he come. Sunday 6/24/1 at 1:37 pm Mr Saul responded the would text me the next day with a day. On Monday 6/25/18 at 2:13 pm he texted Wednesday or Friday morning would be better and that he would call on Tuesday 6/26/18 at 1:30 pm. On 6/26/18 Mr. Saul texted if Sunday 7/1/18 would work and I stated no I had a baby shower and he responded that I didn't have to be there. I explained it's my mother's house and she is invalid and would prefer that I be there. He responded Friday would be better. On Thursday 6/28/18 at 3:38 Mr. Saul's partner Clayton called and stated they would not be able to do my gutters on Friday that it wouldn't be until Tuesday 7/3/18 or I could get my deposit back. I requested for the deposit to be refunded. Clayton stated he would call Mr. Saul and let him know. At 8:16 pm Mr. Saul texted and stated he wanted to know who to write the check to and the correct address. I sent him a picture of the contract as well as texting him the name and address. He stated he would deliver it and then changed his mind and texted he would put it the mail. To date 7/6/18 a refund check has not been received.
