    Poor workmanship

    I had a deck built by David O'Barra at that time the company name was Sun Deck of Kansas City approx 10 years ago. I have attemtped contacting Mr O'Barra with no luck on returned calls. I have had 2 contractor's estimates regarding the deck. Both are saying the support beams underneath are running across the deck instead of out from the house....there is no separation between the deck boards..causing puddles of water due to no drainage. The railing has separated from it's base. The support beams are bowing. When the deck was originally built he had no support at the end of the house and had to be called to support the end of the deck. Both contractors have said that due to poor workmanship the entire deck should be removed and rebuilt. I certainly hope someone is reading this review and changes their mind on having this company do their project.......Donna Sites......Blue Springs, Mo
