If you are considering hiring a tree expert run as fast as you can in the other direction from Trew Tree Experts. The only thing I found them to be experts in was doing a halfway job in removing my tree and leaving a horrible mess that it ended up costing me an additional $315 to have someone else clean up. Phone calls were not answered. At this time I am waiting to hear if Mr Trew is going to compensate me for the additional work I had to pay someone else to do. If not...well then there is always small claims court.

If you value your trees, do not hire this company! The workers were not experts at anything except destroying trees and making a mess of the surrounding plantings. They were day laborers and were not supervised during the job by the owner, who left as soon as the job started. Instead of cleaning dead growth from a native blue oak, they thinned it heavily, ruining its appearance. Other trees were crudely and heavily trimmed. I sent them away before the job was done. When I complained Trew offered me a free day of tree trimming. He wasn't kidding, and I wasn't interested.
