Poor office communication. Poor customer service by office staff, the last time I called the lady filling in for the office manager was very rude and could not answer any of my questions. Why answer the phone if you can not help? Let it go to voicemail, because leaving a message with a person is no better then leaving a voicemail. Mr Pape never delivered what was promised. He came highly recommended, so I waited over 2 month for him to start on my landscaping design plans. I called his office to follow up on every couple of weeks. I was told they were very busy and they would get back to me. The office was always slow to get back to me. I was never treated as a priority. Each time I called they would assure me that I would have something in a couple of weeks. It never happened. I finally had to ask to be released from my design contract so I could get help elsewhere. Mr. Pape agreed to release me from the contract. His excuse was that the weather had been bad and they couldn't get out to my property to shoot the grades. Why was that not communicated to me? Instead of continually telling me that they were very busy and promising things that never happened? Thanks goodness Mr Pape released me from the contract. He was nice about it. That was the only positive thing about my experience. I'm very disappointed that I wasted so much time waiting for them to start the design process. Now it is spring time, my landscaping should be going in... Instead, I have to find another landscape designer and begin the whole process all over again. I wish they would have told me they were too busy to take my job, referred me to someone else that could help me, or even been better a communicating what their time frame was and why they were being held up.
