I had a good feeling from the first time we met with Brian to discuss putting in an in ground pool. He seemed knowledgeable, hard working and most importantly honest! We met with 5 other companies and I could not be happier that we chose Your Pool Pal to install our new pool. From beginning to end, Brian went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and things got done in a timely manner, often times working into the evening or on weekends. Brian is always available for questions/concerns via text/email/phone during the entire process and even after pool is built. All of the workers/contractors were a pleasure to work with and very respectful of my home and children. I would highly recommend choosing Your Pool Pal for your new pool! - See more at: http://www.bbb.org/concord/business-reviews/swimming-pool-contractors-dealers-design/your-pool-pal-in-auburn-nh-92014235/customer-reviews?cacheit=y#sthash.hYnksDHT.dpuf -

This is a letter of recommendations from Mike Desmond who worked many of years for a well-known New Hampshire based pool distributor “The Pool Depot” Hi Julie ! The summer couldn't be better! The weather has broken all the record books as being one of the best in 50 years! Glad you got in touch with me about "pools". I am no longer in the business, but I stay connected. First...you DO NOT want to buy a pool and then have someone install it. Most pools that are for sale to the public aren't so good. They're cheap imitations of the ones that you get when dealing with a professional. It's best to deal with an outfit that supplies a quality product and does the installation also. This way, you have the best of all worlds! Pool dealers can be worse than used car dealers. Many are cut-throat and just slam a pool in, get their money and run. I ran a company for 5 years that manufactured the pools and the liners that go into them. We didn't sell to the public at all! We only dealt with the pool dealers that installed them. I know every one of them in a 125 mile radius ! I know who is good. I know who is honest, and I know who puts in a good pool. There are several in your area...be careful. One guy that stands out is a guy that is not the biggest...but he puts his heart and soul into installing a good pool. His name is Brian and he owns "Your Pool Pal". A small outfit that does a great job and you and Jonathan will really like dealing with him! He's honest. He carries two brands of above ground pools ( he can get anything you want) that are heads and shoulders above the rest. One of them is made in Canada!! They are both very good quality! Brian will stand behind them both as being quality! Brian also builds some of the best In-Grounds pool in the area should you decide to go in ground. Brian is "on the job" a lot and is not the easiest guy to catch up with. It would be best for you to make contact with him and set up a time that you can get together. I have made contact with Brian and told him to expect your call. Begin your conversation with him by mentioning my name "Mike Desmond"...he'll open up with you from there. His contact information: [email protected] Business 603-228-8929 If there is any other help I can give you folks...just gimmie a call or shoot me a E-Mail! Take Care! Hope you have a good summer. I was wondering if you know some good places to buy above ground pool in the area and also some good contractors to install it. Thanks! Julie :) Sent from my iPhone

Stay away from him if you're thinking of putting in an above ground pool. Brian is not your Pool Pal, Or any kind of Pal. He is charming, but that doesn't make him a good above ground pool provider. He wanted me to purchase an in ground pool but I told him I had just retired and could not afford an in ground. So in April of 2014 I bought an above ground from him it was $7,820 including a upgrade on the liner, a heater and a through the wall underwater light. It was installed the end of June 2014. The light never worked but I had a nice pool. The pool collapsed after the first winter. He said I winterized it incorrectly, however I did have some experience winterizing pools and had followed directions. He said he'd replace it but I had to pay for the pool at his cost and pay for an upgraded liner as well as installation and water, totaling just under $4,000. His brother installed the pool. I had to get rid of the trash from boxes and the old pool and liner was left for me to dispose of. I had originally selected Your Pool Pal because I wanted local and Brian seemed to be knowledgeable and friendly during the sale process. Once I paid the deposit and the construction started I seldom saw him. Second pool was installed exactly a year after the first, end of June 2015. The new pool lasted with no issues until February 2018 when I noticed it was leaking and the bottom of the pool walls had buckled. I called him and he said I must have done something wrong. He told me to call the manufacturer. The phone numbers were disconnected and I couldn't understand why I was suppose to contact the manufacturer when he was the contact. I called him back and left a message. He has never returned my calls. I contacted another pool company and they are installing a new pool. When they were dismantling the Your Pool Pal pool it was noted that the seam connecting the sides of the liner to the bottom had separated and was defective. The new pool people removed all the trash from the old pool and now are going to install a better pool. I have an update since I posted my review on YELP. Brian called me when he saw my review. He began to yell at me in a threatening manner along with insulting me and not letting me get a word in edgewise so I had to hang up. I'm too old for this sort of abuse.
