New Concrete Walkway Construction
The project involves the construction of a new concrete walkway, approximately 300 linear feet, at the ASTI MEB building. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to:
1. Site Preparation and Excavation:
o Layout and marking of the new walkway.
o Excavation to a suitable base depth to ensure a stable foundation.
o Installation of subbase material as per the Anchorage Municipality Standards and Specifications (M.A.S.S).
2. Concrete Placement and Finishing:
o Forming, pouring, and finishing concrete as specified in the contract.
o Adherence to M.A.S.S. standards for compaction, subgrade preparation, and concrete placement.
o Special requirements include cold weather protection and curing as outlined in section 30.01, Article 1.9.
