We've had some heavy winds here in Anchorage, AK, in the last few months. One of my rental houses apparently lost enough shingles that we need a repair. When I first started trying to get this done, there was almost no snow on the roof. (Strange weather this winter.) I contacted a couple guys who have done work for me before & waited, but they finally said they couldn't do it. Now we have some heavy, moist snow (melts off quickly), so I'm hoping we don't have leaks. My house was built in 2003; it is a two-story home with a 12 x 12 pitched roof. A few shingles blew off at the apex of the roof in the high winds this last winter. I have developed a leak in the up stairs bathroom from the exhaust fan, I think the water is getting in from the vent cap on the roof or a shingle problem around the vent cap.
