Any advice for homeowners during the "walkthrough"?

The “walkthrough” is an important part of the hiring process.

What are the key questions a homeowner should ask during a walkthrough? What are the things that should be accomplished from their perspective after a walkthrough?

Start from the bottom and work your way up. Leave no knook or cranny unaswered in your mind of what you want to be Changed. This can save time and money for You and your Contractor.

If the client have plans / drawings on hand, then it is a mater of understanding the scope of the work that is outlined and limited to what the drawings show, any thing after that is a change order, so a good walkthrough will eliminate some of the suprises that might be there and not shown on the plans, also it is the contractor job to point out any issues that he sees or thinks it is a future problem.
