I have heard that the stringent requirements around obtaining a 203(k) loan from the FHA can make it very tough to hire a contractor. I was wondering if there are general contractors in the Denver area that have a lot of experience in 203(k) remodeling, or if there are any specific questions I should ask of contractors to see for myself? Thanks!
All contractors can do 203k work, if they have the requirements set by the FHA providers. Mostly there licenses, insurance. Payments are made after work is done, no advance payments from the loan.
