Well the best one for me so far has been gosmith.com. You sign up and put in your information and where you are located. Using that info gosmith sends you an email or a text with a lead saying these people want something done that arein your area. Its a pretty decent website.
I use home advisor, it charges an annual fee but gets leads all day.
Well, i have been using buildzoom for a couple of months and it worked great for me. Most of the time i am getting leads via text messages and emails.
Buildzoom works for me

I agree with the guys above and would have to say word to mouth and my reputation have been my greatest asset but I also use buildzoom and other social media resources.

Buildzoom has worked for us we’ve done a couple jobs through this site. Word of mouth has been key for us, it’s put us in contact with a couple awesome Custom Home Builders and Landscape Contractors that we’ve been working with for the last year. Our customers are also great, referring us to their family and friends. We also do local Home Shows, Facebook and LinkedIn.
We use Thumbtack.com and have had tremendous success with it. Very high quality leads, good conversion rate, and they ask good questions that allow us to pick and choose which one we want to go after.
