We come from a Architecture and Engineering background with a Degree in Architecture and we like to assist our clients into ideas that an Architect is typically unable to provide. We find being involved in the design (overseeing, ideas, redlines) and structural elements can save the client and or contract $1,000’s if not $100,000’s of thousands and make a much smoother cost effective design.
Yes, for new construction and additions, I like to walk the customer through preparing all the necessary documents including prints. This allows for a seamless process and the best possible communication.
If contractors deviate from sealed plans prepared by an architect, they assume all responsibilities associated with the changes. They will have to research all codes related to the project.
As a General Contractor with an architectural background, I believe it is important to assist a client to apply architecture to their project. It gives the client a better vision and it gives them a person to bounce ideas off of. This may be a learning experience to all that is involved, whether it be from the planning stages to the final result of the finished project.
If we are awarded the project.
