It came with the house when I bought it, and is an older system, so I don’t have any information about it. The gate works great, I had two remotes, but one broke. I am only left with one. The remote only says SEG it’s black with two touch buttons. The control board doesn’t really tell me much information. I’m hoping to find someone who can tell me what brand this gate is, or if I can just buy a generic remote to replace the broken one?
You can defenitaly can call to any Gate repair company and buy a universal remote from them.
Universal remotes are less expensive and available at your local Hardware store.
Your gate receiver brand is normally listed on the remote packaging if it is compatilble with your opener.
If you are unsure, call the universal remote manufacturer.
They will be able to tell you and guide you through programing of your remote if you need help.
is this what you have? price is $28.42 you can find in http://www.gateopen.net or related online stores. I hope this helps!
Gate control can be obtained by either using the manufacture radio control or you can have a certified contractor such as ourselves allow more ways to control your gate. Our channel of business employees all items “automation” which means low voltage relays and contact closures to make the gate open/close when you desire, both remotely and or automatically when you pull up (by embedding a smart RFID chip into your car) and or using proximity sensors. Basically a low voltage systems integrator can handle this type of repair and or service. Best of luck, A/V Logix
