Original storm windows were installed in 1994 by Thomas Door and Window Co. with Tom Beaudoin…which I believe are no longer in business. Windows are ok, they just will not stay up to keep them open.
Anyone know how and where I can get the white plastic pieces replaced?
It all depends on the window
Most parts of a storm window can be replaced or repaired. It doesn’t matter the brand of window since the storm is seperate from the window itself. Another point is if you have a good quality replacement window, the storm is no longer nessessary. Storm windows are becoming phased out since the windows now are wry energy effecient in them selves. Storm windows should only be used outside old wood windows, so it may be a good idea to think about upgrading your windows, it will save you money on your heating and cooling bills.
