Before someone can officially tell you yes or no it should be inspected by a fully licensed contractor. Also if you still want more assurance you can always call your area county inspections office.

It depends on the BTU rating of your new stove. Things to look for in the existing run would be existing size and if there are unnecessary turns and lengths that can be eliminated.

It is not necessary unless your stove requires a higher BTU.
I ended up replacing it anyways since the store required a new one as a part of their installation. Seemed like most stores have the same policy.

Yes, you should replace it. It has to be up to code. FYI, it needs to be a copper pipe.
If you are located in San Jose, there is a new rule since 2016 that the gas cannot be behind the stove. It should be on the side for your protection. That if something happens you can shut off the valve right away.
Thanks for the response. A licensed plumber did the work, but the pipe wasn’t copper. I assume that’s just a difference in local plumbing code.
