If you were seeking an initial consultation with an initial exchange of ideas, Aria Alfresco has never charged for the initial consultatiin and we are even happy to give advice at the conclusion of the meeting tailored to the client’s needs. The only time that we have ever charged for our design and illustration services is if a client is very clear about owning the design and illustration at the end of that phase. A client has never paid more than $750 for our most premium service and that’s a bargain!
It is not common for designers to break out a hourly rate. typically we charge a flat fee for our service. There are many different elements that are necessary To having a complete design. What are materials that are being specified by builder/architect and how detailed and thorough is the design to be. The sheer voluminous of the book learnin’ necesarry would likely run into the 5 digit hourly rate.
