I see people with beautiful lighting in their yards but how do they power it? Do I need to run cabling underground? Does this require permits? How does it work?
Today there are some pretty decent solar lighting fixtures that can be placed in the yard without running any wires. Alternatively, for better and more consistent lighting, you can run electric lines underground to each fixture, especially if you don’t have a lot of sunlight to charge the solar panel.
