We are in AZ and we send a letter that says it is not a pre-lien, but for the super touchy customers, we will issue a conditional waiver which by definition states that no lien will be placed on the “condition” that the contract is paid in full.
Proper information notice to owners on construction liens should be given at time of signing contract. Each state will have different requirements.
