How long on average does it take to build a home in Louisiana?

It has been over 100 days and all I have is a form for foundation and four piles of dirt.

I don’t know about Louisiana but in Arkansas I have seen house built from ground up and it only take 3 to 4 months

Have you contacted the contractor?, How big is the house?, Here in Florida, I can not leave a project idle for over 90 days, good way to get a cancelled permit.
