An average 12’x12’ kitchen with relocating the plumbing and electrical, updating the insulation in the exterior wall(s), wall texture, paint, relocating new window(s), cabinets, countertops flooring and installing appliances is normally a two week project providing you have all needed materials on site and your specialty contractors on schedule.
Hello , First it depends on how big or small the kitchen is normal 16’x16’ would take around about 3 days to gut the kitchen out and about two weeks to put everything back together for a finish so two weeks being 10 days plus the 3 days to gut the kitchen that’s 13 days add 2 days for clean up total project should last 15 days if its done right.
It really depends on the scale and finishes of the job. a simple remodel with prefab cabinets and counter can be done in 2 weeks, however a custom and high end finishes can make it 6-8 weeks and more. it is important to ask for the effects of the timeline based on your selections.
@prestigeconstruction what aspects of a custom/high-end kitchen remodel make it takes so much longer?
It would really depend on the size of your kitchen, and if you will be installing prefab cabinets, semi- custom cabinets, or only custom cabinets. If using prefab cabinets or semi custom cabinets, it can take anywhere from 3-5 weeks. If using custom cabinets only, it should take about 5-8 weeks.
Depending on the complexity of the kitchen I would estimate it taking anywhere from a month to two months.
