Factors that may affect your setup include:
- Water Pump
- Hose length
- Type of Plants (Amount of spout/ distribution points)
- Do you just want to run water? If you also want occasional fertilizer distribution, hoses can get clogged.
- How hard is the water? Calcium build ups can also clog up the spouts/distribution nozzles
- Maintenance (damage from gardeners, natural wear and tear, clogs, leaks, plants at the end of the line will get less water if pump isn’t strong enough.
