How much is my kitchen remodel going to cost?

Kitchen remodel cost vary by many things, for example, are you planning to use granite or formica for your tops, are you going to keep your old flooring and patch in tile in the places your layout changes or go all new. What type of cabinets are you going to use, solid wood or a combo of particle board and solid wood. Same with electrical, keep the old locations, adding new etc. What about ceiling height, if you go up and delete a soffet then you will have insulation and electrical to deal with in addition to drywall work. I have done many remodels and these are some of the factors that change the price. I would price an average kitchen remodel between 15-35k

Kitchen remodeling can vary greatly depending on finishes which ultimately is dictated by the design and your personal preferences so the best route to take during the initial stages of contemplating a budget for a renovation starts at the design. With a precise design and specifications, you can determine a budget and refine ideas into a definitive plan of action.

The above answers are absolutely correct - it depends! Just like choosing a car, then selecting the options; you can go from economy to Lamborghini in 3.2 seconds, lol.

The average cost for a full kitchen remodel in the US is around 45,000. That is an average. If you have a small kitchen it could be much less depending on how expensive your taste is with cabinets and countertops and such. Personally for our clients our range is usually between 20,000 and 75,000, but there are so many variables its crazy. Best advice is to get at least three estimates and do your research as far as what cabinets, countertops and flooring you want, because those things as well as cost of labor will eat up the biggest percentage of your total cost.

Cabinets!! A kitchen is important in any house and depending what taste in cabinets you have can bring the price up or bring it down a little also depends on what type of countertop you may want to use, another one is a backsplash that usually brings everything together the more you put into the project the more it adds up and also quality is important!! sometimes its better to pay a few dollars more for better quality which will last longer! prices can be anywhere from 5 thousand to 100k and + but you can get a really nice kitchen redone for about 10-20 thousand

A kitchen remodel can vary greatly based on your finishing choices for (countertops, tile, cabinets, backsplash and so on) For cabinets I always recommend spending the extra money on soft close drawers and getting all wood construction. Pricing can also significantly go up if your rearranging the layout, moving electrical, plumbing, taking down walls etc. To keep the same layout and go with granite and mid grade cabinets my projects are usually between 13-30k for a complete demo which includes all haulaway and permits.

It really depends on what you want to do and the materials you are going to choose. There is a great tool though that lets you calculate the cost of a remodeling project. It is zip code sensitive to labor costs and materials and it is free. If anyone is still wondering about remodeling costs I suggest you try estimating the costs with that: https://app.mykukun.com/Home-Renovation-Costs

There is no kitchen price. There are so many variables to consider: floor type, countertop, cabinets, electricity, appliances (standard Samsung brand full kitchen will be around 5k, Viking or Wolf around 25k just for appliances).
You will have to sit with your GC and figure it out. I recommend to break the project in to 2 segments:
labor which will be paid to the GC, and materials that the customer will purchase and control his budget.
In CA, people typically spend $20 - 40,000 but you can go up to $50,000 - 100,000 easily.
