Our backyard is about 25’ x 50.’ It has mild slope, and is currently just random clumps of weeds. We’d like to fully level the flatter sections and add in pavers or decking. We’d like to plant the sloping areas and add in small retaining walls (25’x3’) to separate the sloping areas from the flat areas. What should we expect a project like this to cost? We’re still in the planning stages.
This totally depends on the location, size of your backyard, what you want to accomplish with the space and what materials you want to use. Just shooting from the hip… to produce a well built, picture perfect, easy to maintain yard I believe you should plan on spending $30k - $50k including plans and permits for a turn key project.
