We have some leftover quartz from the slab we used to make our kitchen counters and I’m thinking about re-purposing it for our bathroom, which we’ll remodel soon. Is there any cost savings to this idea? Or will we end up spending more on labor than if we just bought a vanity with an included stone counter top?
You would need to specify the product you would be using.
Labor is always more expensive than material. Def. weigh the price difference. It shouldn’t cost you anything to get some estimates. Good Luck!
Hi,
Having left over slab can definitely save you some money when remodelling your bathroom, of course it all depends on what kind of deal you can get on a pre-built cabinet with countertop, typical minimum labor cost for quartz stone is about $35 per square foot, if its Ceaserstone then expect to pay more in labor since the installer needs to be certified by Ceaserstone.
Hope this helps !
