I am looking to add 180SF to our house for a new kitchen. The kitchen is on the first floor so the new addition would need to sit on posts or similar to be brought up to the correct height.
Our current kitchen is only 9x7 and very limited in space. Our plan is to add an addition by extending the side of the house out to be square/level with our deck/first floor and the additional 180SF would become our new kitchen, then our current kitchen would become a larger dining room once we removed the wall between the kitchen and dining area.
Looking for a rough cost to build the addition and anything that might be an issue with this plan to create the extra space.
