I’d like to know how much it will cost to paint a 740 square foot home. The walls in the house are textured and the contractor will need to perform some plaster repair before the painting is done.

Are you just looking for an estimate for the interior?There is no set price. Things that will vary in a professional painters time:
Type of paint finish - solid, faux, textured, crackle paint … all have there own method and skill to apply.
Amount of repair needed for the walls
Amount of trim - base, chair rail, crown, shadow boxes, doors … All take additional time.
Variance in colors, darker richer colors need to be apply up to 3 time to gain the proper finish
Ceiling heights and whether scaffolding is needed.
Sorry for not providing a basic price but there are main factors to consider.

Depending on the quality of paint and how much plaster / wall repair is needed a good ballpark figure in anchorage could be anywhere between $400 and $1000 . Again this depends on how much preparation is involved.
Pricing always vary from state to state, and besides that, there are always several factor to consider as the preparation needed, height, access to surfaces, colors and more…
therefore an accurate price can be only achieved by looking at the property in person.
average here in California I would say from $900 to $1800 dlls.

Depends on what exactly you want done. Meaning what ype paint, walls not the same as say the doors and trim. But in all a gallon of paint is equal to 350 sq feet. So with that being said house painted all one color 2 1/2 gallons, with about 5 % for waste.
Well it’s roughly around $2.50/sf paint 2 coats with texture and minor plaster repair prior to painting. so as the rooms arent vaulted to two story then it would be around $1,600. Materials & Labor
Depend condition of the house how much preparation need if and how much trim you have moulding, windows, doors etc etc.
This would depend on the amount of patch work and access to the work area. Also depends on the height of the walls and color scheme. For just painting the interior all one color and sheen with two coats would probably be right around $1,000.00.
This is just a ballpark figure but Id say you are looking at around $1,200.00 for a full paint job including ceilings and trim. I have trained my painting crews to use masking techniques that allows the use of an airless paint sprayer. A job that size would take 4 hours from masking to clean up.
The cost can vary, based upon the amount of work needed besides the painting.

It’s all depends if it Interior or Exterior, Condition of the surface, heights, what materials needs to be used, etc. Little bit easier with new construction projects, interior painting roughly around $1.50-$2 sq.f. , but better and best way to stop by, check it out and make exact, clear estimate.
