I would love to landscape my back yard with grass, plants, and trees. Right now I have nothing but weeds and a broken Doughboy pool. Should I fix the above ground pool 1st or landscape the yard first? I don’t know how it works out the best and easiest.
I’ve done natural ponds and full backyard makeovers in the area of 20 grand and up
Depends on size and sophistication. Great landscaping can be much more than you figure.
All depends on how badly you want to swim in the pool and how big your backyard is. Landscaping is expensive, sod can run $0.90 sf, plus $1.25 for irrigation, perennials and shrubs figure $15-20 sf. Trees all depend on the size. I recommend you hire a landscape architect for a brief consult so that they can guide you through the process and help you phase the work to fit your budget.
if you are looking to keep the pool first do the Pool then work on your landscape
this will make sure that access to landscape will be worked on without destruction from pool workers repair
