There is no short answer for your question, but here are some tips for you to protect yourself and your estate(project). First there are three areas to keep in mind when you try to protect a building or house. First would be the crawl space, keep it clean and protected ,a good way to do that is to insulate the whole area including the walls.Second and third would be to protect the south walls from rain and winter colds the best that you can with the latest weatherize systems( south walls get the most rain in this state), and the north walls from mold(north walls gets the most mold)(remove any plants or trees that are to close to the walls).
