Your EPA or Mold remediation license, etc. will only cover directing your own employees to do the work under your direct supervision. Once you’re paying another sub-contractor to do the work, they have to be licensed to do so unless you qualify their company as a qualified license holder and then still be their employee’s direct supervisor. It is mostly the concerns of the insurance that the company must hold to cover that license to protect the employees.
