In a residential setting, (considering all pros/cons) which is the ideal choice - pavers or concrete and why?

First of all, you can’t go wrong with either, but nothing makes a home pop like custom brick pavers. Also the durability of concrete is hard to beat. Ultimately, I’m a fan of brick pavers - the asthetic look and overall appeal is overwhelming when layed out properly. They will add charm and elegance to any home. Dollar for dollar, brick paver make any home more beautiful and give a place, if used in a patio setting, years of outdoor pleasure.

We prefer pavers. Of course it has to be quality manufactured.
Pavers have relatively easy installation, do not involve reinforcement, and do not crack like concrete. In case of any rare cracks, the pieces can easily be replaced. No matter how hard you try, stamped concrete will lose its appeal in a short time and will require resealing.

Concrete’s advantage comes from its durability in placing in difficult areas, where you can form and pour.

Pavers, which in my view are definitely more ascetically pleasing, also come with other benefits. These include, but are not limited to, only small areas needing repair if tree roots become an issue. No cracking like concrete and if any of the pavers do become damaged, again, an easy repair to replace just the damaged ones. Things such as these make pavers way easier to maintain and keep the area looking nice longer.
