In hillside conditions (home located on hillside property), which foundation underpinning method is best? Concrete Pile or Helical Piles? I would like to get opinions from soils engineers, civil/structural engineers and contractors.

As a contractor, if this is new construction then I would say to use concrete piers. If this is existing construction to shore up an existing foundation, then I would suggest helica piles. However, in any case, I would seek an engineer’s advice.
